Welcome! I am Vadim, professional massage therapist, with a private practice at my studio in downtown Walnut Creek.
I was born in the Ukraine--and after graduating from Physical Culture Institute of Higher Education--worked as assistant coach and massage therapist for a professional Euro-Handball team.
For a many years I have studied and practiced therapeutic massage and bodywork. And I love it. I love it because of its extreme therapeutic power, great feeling and the wonderful results for my clients. Massage Therapy feels fabulous for a reason. It works.
The human hands are both a diagnostic and treatment tool and something that allows me to effectively locate and treat most of the soft-tissue dysfunction.
My training included most of effective modalities and techniques Active Muscle Release, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, Myofascial release and others.
I work with most of soft tissue dysfunctions; neck and shoulders stiffness and pain, back, Sciatica, stress management, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tennis Elbow and many other conditions.
In pre-Communist China, wealthy families hired physicians to keep them in good health. The physician was paid a retainer as long as his clients were healthy. If they became sick, the payments stopped.
Often, people end up knocking on my door because they’ve discovered that the medical system doesn’t know what to do with them or doesn’t have time for them.
For most clients I recommend a 1.5 hour appointment so that I can target your problem areas and still complete a full body session. 1 hour appointments can be focused on specific areas or are good for a general full-body massage.
